Ever since Alcon Entertainment announced the plan for more BLADE RUNNER movies, it has been debatable whether it's going to be a prequel or sequel. Now that original director Ridley Scott has already confirmed his comeback, another good news has surfaced that original BLADE RUNNER writer Hampton Fancher is in talks to pen an idea for an untitled sequel to that landmark sci-fi masterpiece. Note that it's going to be a sequel after all.
As for now, no plot details are revealed other than confirming the fact that the story will be be set "some years after the first movie concluded".
