Till now, the long-gestating GHOSTBUSTERS 3 is suffering to get off the ground because one main setback: Bill Murray. He is the anchor that binds everything together, and now the 61-year-old veteran actor is reportedly shredded the script for GHOSTBUSTERS 3 and returned it to co-writers and original GHOSTBUSTERS stars Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis.
According to National Enquirer, Murray is supposedly sent the screenplay back with a note that read: "No one wants to pay money to see fat, old men chasing ghosts".
Sony Pictures has reportedly that they won't proceed GHOSTBUSTERS 3 without Murray's involvement, while Sigourney Weaver admitted that she will not join the cast unless Murray returns as well. However, Dan Aykroyd insisted that GHOSTBUSTERS 3 will be made with or without Murray.
