Take notice, fans of testosterone-fueled action movie! Veteran actors Robert De Niro and John Travolta are collaborating each other in a Mark Steven Johnson's (GHOST RIDER) new movie called KILLING SEASON, which is written by Evan Daugherty (SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN).
An action movie set in the Appalachian Mountains, KILLING SEASON centers on an American military veteran (De Niro) who has retreated to a remote cabin in the woods. When a rare visitor in the form of a European tourist (Travolta), appears on the scene, the two strangers unexpectedly become friends. However, the visitor is actually a former Serbian soldier seeking vengeance against him. What follows next is a tense, action-packed battle across some of America's most forbidding landscape that proves the old adage: the purest form of war is one-on-one (hence the tagline).
KILLING SEASON is expected to hit theaters in 2012.
