After speculations of Kerry Washington (RAY) has been picked the female lead for Quentin Tarantino's upcoming spaghetti western epic DJANGO UNCHAINED for a December 25, 2012 release, she is finally confirmed to appear in the movie after all. She will play Broomhilda, the wife of Jamie Foxx's titular character who is a former slave turned bounty hunter. He goes on an epic quest to save her from the hands of the evil Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio).
Both Washington and Foxx had previously collaborated in the Oscar-winning RAY (2004).
