With Quentin Tarantino's heavily-anticipated spaghetti western epic DJANGO UNCHAINED currently in pre-production, The Weinstein Company has apparently set a December 25, 2012 release date for the movie.
DJANGO UNCHAINED centers on a titular character of Django, a freed American slave who teams with a German bounty hunter to save his wife from Calvin Candle, an evil plantation owner.
For now, Leonardo DiCaprio is in final talks to play Calvin, while Christoph Waltz is expected to play the German bounty hunter. Samuel L. Jackson is also mentioned as well but the role remains sketchy. The biggest issue now is the role of Django himself, who is yet to be cast yet.
