Okay, so we all now know that Marion Cotillard has signed on to play a role as Miranda Tate for next summer's THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. According to the press, Miranda Tate is a member of the Wayne Enterprise board "eager to help a still-grieving Bruce Wayne resume his father's philanthropic endeavors for Gotham."
For those who have followed religiously on various rumors, speculations and even confirmation for a certain role in Christopher Nolan's highly-anticipated third BATMAN movie, will know that Miranda Tate is not just a simple character.
During a recent interview by Los Angeles Times' 24 Frames, Cotillard gives a slight hint about her character.
"My role is a secret, as is the whole project."
Secret, eh? Could it be what fans have long speculated that Cotillard's Miranda Tate is actually Talia al Ghul in disguise? Let the guessing game begins!
